Undeniably there are difficult times ahead, but as we have said many times before, we think there are some reasons for the sector to be cheerful. In this issue we have tried to focus on some of these bright spots.

We assess the likely impact of the Pre-Budget Report. For many companies in the sector there will be some good opportunities over the next two years as spend is accelerated. We try to pick some of the likely winners.

We are also still optimistic about international opportunities.
