Other companies match - or beat - its scale, technology and process skills. But none understand so well what it takes to solve the problems of the Public Sector. Its focus allows it to minimise bid costs and provides the rationale for its numerous value-adding acquisitions. Having multiple contracts with similar characteristics is now enabling it to drive down costs through process improvements and economics of scale.

Capita is a great example of a services company with a clear edge. It’s PE is the highest in the sector.
